DESIGN FOR
FUTURE ECONOMY
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and impending climate emergency will vastly alter our current and future global economy. Many structural trends, such as digital transformation and design innovation, have thus accelerated from what we have already seen prior to the outbreak. As Singapore emerges from such disruptive changes, it is inevitable that we need to adapt quickly and strategically place ourselves in a position that allows us to seize present and envision future opportunities. This year’s SkillsFuture@SUTD will focus on equipping our workforce with skillsets as enabled by design innovation and digitalization to steer Singapore into the next phase of economic recovery and growth.
