About the event
Positive aging consists of five factors: health, cognition, activity, affect, and physical fitness. It is described in practice by a broad set of biopsychosocial factors and is assessed through both objective and subjective indicators. Positive aging reflects the attitudes and experiences older people have about themselves and how younger generations view the process of aging. It considers the health, financial security, independence, self-fulfillment, personal safety and living environment.
Ageing does not spell doom and gloom, instead there are tons of possibilities. One can be a positive role model to the younger workers with their vast life and work experiences. You get better with what you are doing with crystallised intelligence and it gets ever better as you age further. A senior can manage their emotions better and focus more on how to make the most out of life. It is also time to pick up that baking skills which you have been hoping to do earlier.
