About the event

Along with the growth and worldwide acceptance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), consumers are displaying heighten interest in service experiences that incorporate interaction with innovative AI-enabled technologies. Focusing on the use of service robots in frontline service delivery, this workshop starts off with a short talk on service robots, the different types of robots, as well as its pros and cons. Some practical real-life examples of service robots being used in the local landscape will be shared. The second part of the workshop will entail a live demo of a service robot, known as Temi. The audience will have the opportunity to engage and interact with the robot to experience how robotic technology can be incorporated in the delivery of modern day services.
